I am tired of the Media Blaming the Public for Obesity and Doctors “We don’t Know” When it comes to Disease

We live in an age when almost no one takes blame when they do something wrong and or they blame someone else for what they did wrong.

We have a gated/guarded community close to where we live, and they had someone vandalizing unoccupied homes. This happened about six times, so the security people set a house up and waited for the vandals. It ended up that three boys were doing the damage and the security people took the boys to the local sheriff’s office where their parents were called to come and bail them out. Two of the parents were surprised and shocked that their kids would something like this and were ready to punish their boys on the spot as they took them home.

The third mother got all indignant and yelling that her little dear would never do something like vandalism and she was going to sue the security police and the sheriff’s department. The little vandal was caught in the commission of a crime and the mother denied it could happen.

Does this sound familiar?

If you are obese or at least over weight, just watch the media on a daily basis as they do stories or interviews with skinny anorexic people that probably complain about being fat when they have gained 5 pounds. The implications are always that we don’t exercise, and we eat too much. Tommy Thompson said that “We just eat too dare much”. Unfortunately the media will never report that the “deck” is stacked against everyone that eats food from a grocery store.

The most blatant conspiracy involving overweight people is soft drinks headed up by Coke Cola. A 20 oz soft drink has 55 milligrams of salt, NaCl, plus high fructose corn syrup. The HFCS is in the drink to cover up the taste of the salt and the salt is in the drink to make you thirsty so you will drink more.

What is the problem with HFCS that is in almost every processed food we buy in regular grocery stores?

If I gave you a bunch of candy bars made with sugar and ask you to eat them until you wanted to quit, you might eat a couple but because your sugar level went up, your insulin system with leptin would kick in and send a signal to your brain that you had enough and you would quit eating the candy bars.

If on another day I gave you a bunch of candy bars made with high fructose corn syrup and told you to eat until you didn’t want any more you would eat and eat and we don’t know when you would stop because the leptin and insulin system would never send a signal to your brain to stop.

My point of this is that if you or I are at fault over something then we ought to stand up and do the right thing but when it is not our fault or when only part of something is not our fault then we need to fight back.

Agriculture and food manufactures are stacking the deck against us and they are creating disease at our expense just so they can make massive amounts of money. I am not opposed to making money but not when integrity is lost. A lot of people believe that their government is protecting them from unsavory corporations but most of the time they are protecting the multinational multibillion dollar corporations and slamming the small companies who do not have enough to compete with government lawyers.

To add insult to injury our medical system that is run by drug corporations keep lying to us. If you ask a doctor what causes cancer you will get a blank look and he or she will say “We don’t know” but the truth is there is a cause for everything but it is not in doctors or drug corporations best economic interest to cure you or prevent.

We see ads on TV for drugs for fibromyalgia and the narrator says “Thought to be caused by over active nerves”. What a line! “I am taking a “Statin drug” for my cholesterol because diet and exercise did not work. This is bull “stuff”. The reason diet and exercise did not work is that they were told not to eat fat (there are healthy fats and unhealthy fats) so they ate carbohydrates instead. Folks, carbohydrates are the direct cause of cholesterol and triglycerides. Doctors, through drug corporations don’t want you to know the truth because you might get well and not need so many expensive drugs.

Obesity and diabetes is another example of a failed system making billions of dollars over your misfortune. If the food was not spiked with excessive salt and high fructose corn syrup (or excessive consumption of fruit with high fructose) we would not be having these problems. Child hood cancer and obesity are running hand in hand and medicine is doing nothing but writing prescriptions for drugs.

Cancer is made to be a big mysterious disease that no one knows how to cure but the truth be known cancer is just a few cells gone wrong (we all have cancers cells in our bodies from day to day or from time to time). The problem is that the cancer cells get into a body that has little quality immune system, flooded with sugar, MSG, and other chemicals and the cancer cells go nuts growing with wild abandon when they should be killed by our bodies. As they grow and are finally discovered by medicine, the big chemicals (chemo), knives (scalpels), and radiation are brought in to kill the cancer cells and most of the good surrounding cells. After a few months when you are about to expire or run out of money you are told there is nothing modern medicine can do for you so prepare to meet your maker.

What is the solution? In my opinion we need integrity in government and corporations.

We need a healthy food system, a healthy agriculture system, an honest media system that tells the truth no matter what their advertisers say. I don’t think this is likely to happen so what should we do to help ourselves and change the system.

Don’t eat anything that is advertised on TV; eat local food even if we have to go “underground” to hide our actions from the government and greedy corporations. Complain and put pressure on corporations like Walmart, Kroger, Monsanto (probably the most evil corporation in the world) that we want to be treated in a healthful way.

The most important thing to do is get cheap out of your mindset when it comes to food. The politicians want cheap food so you will spend the “extra” money left over from food on things like new cars, big screen TV’s, houses that we can’t afford so that our brains are so warped with distractions that we will not realize they are “shafting” us. The is like the old Jerry Reid song “She got all the gold and he got the shaft”

I don’t mean that we should not have nice things but we need to put quality food at the top of the important things in life and stop thinking cheap. When we go to restaurants and grocery stores we are always surrounded with cheap. Save ten cents here and a nickel there but while we are doing it we buy soft drinks, processed “foods” and chemically dead fruits and vegetable from all over the world instead of locally grown healthy food.

It is time to change your little corner of the world. If everyone takes one little step to improvement we can change the world and our health.

Why would anyone think it is cool to be sick and on a bunch of medicine that makes you worse, not better?

Remember that all disease is preventable with a healthy life style no matter what your doctor or the TV says.

Some Toxic Chemicals in “Food” you Eat

inkiesI hate to use the word conspiracy but I just can’t come up with a better term to describe what is happening to cause the poor health epidemic in the USA.
The media tells us that we are lazy junk food guzzling idiots, but they will never report that their advertisers are causing this epidemic by what they put into so called “food” Here are examples of what is going on with the prepared food supply.
Coke-cola and has to be at the top of the list but they are probably not the worst. A can of Coke (12 fl ounces/355 ml) has 39 grams of carbohydrates (all from sugar, approximately 10 teaspoons), 50 mg of sodium, 0 grams fat, 0 grams potassium, and 140 calories. I got these figures from Wikipedia but they are wrong on one thing. Coke and soft drink manufactures rarely use sugar; they use High Fructose Corn Syrup almost exclusively, which is worse than sugar for causing obesity.
I do want you to observe that 50 mg of sodium that is in Coke. What does sodium mean? SALT! Why is salt put into soft drinks, to make you thirstier and make you drink more soft drinks? This is the conspiracy.
Why is there so much high fructose corn syrup? To cover up the taste of salt! What was New Coke (the marketing ploy that failed)? Increased salt and more HFCS! If coke had never announced the plot to change the formula and if they had changed the formula gradually, no one would have ever known what they had done.

This concerns McDonalds and their McNuggets that you might think are chicken but only 50 percent of each McNugget is actually chicken.

Do you put dimethylpolysiloxane, an anti-foaming agent made of silicone, in your chicken dishes?
How about tertiary butylhydroquinone (TBHQ), a chemical preservative so deadly that just five grams can kill you?
These are just two of the ingredients in a McDonalds Chicken McNugget. Only 50 percent of a McNugget is actually chicken. The other 50 percent includes corn derivatives, sugars, leavening agents and completely synthetic ingredients.
Organic Authority helpfully transcribed the full ingredients list provided by McDonalds:
“White boneless chicken, water, food starch-modified, salt, seasoning (autolyzed yeast extract, salt, wheat starch, natural flavoring (botanical source), safflower oil, dextrose, citric acid, rosemary), sodium phosphates, seasoning (canola oil, mono- and diglycerides, extractives of rosemary).
Battered and breaded with: water, enriched flour (bleached wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), yellow corn flour, food starch-modified, salt, leavening (baking soda, sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium aluminum phosphate, monocalcium phosphate, calcium lactate), spices, wheat starch, whey, corn starch.
Prepared in vegetable oil (Canola oil, corn oil, soybean oil, hydrogenated soybean oil with TBHQ and citric acid added to preserve freshness). Dimethylpolysiloxane added as an antifoaming agent.”
All of the above is bad but just the vegetable oils (Canola, corn oil, soybean oil, hydrogenated soybean oil) are terrible because these oils are all genetically engineered and they are all trans fatty acids. This is why all chicken prepared in grocery stores and fast food chicken outlets is unhealthy to eat under any circumstances.
How about desert? How about a Twinkie? Here is a report that I got from the internet. Actually I have read the book but this is a short summary of the book by the author.

This got my attention. However, it only got worse when I discovered that the ingredients come from phosphate mines in Idaho, gypsum mines in Oklahoma, and oil fields in China. Okay, so now I was wondering if I was watching a real news story—come to find out, I was.
The Twinkie, which was created during the Depression, contains thirty-nine ingredients. One of those ingredients is a preservative, sorbic acid. Sorbic acid is an ingredient I see on many packages, and I have never thought twice about it. But author Steve Ettlinger did. He found that sorbic acid is actually derived from natural gas.
If that isn’t shocking enough, he goes on to talk about other ingredients like cellulose gum, Polysorbate 60, and calcium sulfate. Apparently, these ingredients are also used in sheet rock, shampoo, and rocket fuel. No wonder Twinkies make kids run around like crazy and have even been used as a defense for murder!
Mr. Ettlinger also found that the vitamins, artificial colors, and flavorings in Twinkies come from petroleum.
I started to wonder how this tasty treat made from gas and rocks can be so light and airy. In comes Mr. Ettlinger again. Apparently, it’s limestone that makes Twinkies light. And that tasty cream center—it’s got to be milk, right? No. It’s made of shortening; there is absolutely no cream in the cream.
I have to say I was curious to know what Hostess, the makers of the Twinkie, thought about Mr. Ettlinger’s claims. Well, here’s the quote that ran in my newscast:
Deconstructing the Twinkie is like trying to deconstruct the universe. We think the millions of people … would agree that Twinkies just taste great.—David Leavitt, Vice President Snack Marketing at Hostess.
The news story was inspired by Steve Ettlinger’s new book, Twinkie Deconstructed. Ettlinger uses the Twinkie to demonstrate where our processed food ingredients come from. Since the Twinkie is the product leader—yes, it’s a product and apparently, barely a food—it served as the perfect tool to show consumers what goes into our food.
The above are three “foods” that unsuspecting people consume that cause poor health.
The manufactures of these “foods” do not want you to know what their chemicals are doing to cause you to suffer poor health. The above products cause colds and flu in all age groups because they compromise your immune system. The colds and flu problems are all on the “short run” but the more insidious problems are on the long run. The long run problems are heart disease, stroke, cancer, obesity, diabetes and infections from mycoplasmas that cause neuro-degenerative and degenerative diseases like ALS, MS, chronic fatigue syndrome, Crohn’s disease, fibromyalgia, and many other chronic diseases.
You might say “I don’t care cause you have to die of something” and that is your right to be stupid but you deserve to know what is causing people to be sick and die before their time. You need to know that drug corporations, doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, food manufactures, agriculture producers, chemical corporations, don’t want you to be healthy so they can get “fat” off your misfortune.
Everyone has the right to make a choice but your government and corporations conspire to keep you in the dark about “food” knowing that you will suffer yourself or through a family member of friend.
My job as a reporter and author is to inform the public about what is wrong in their food supply so that you can make an intelligent choice with the food you eat.
It is your right to do and eat as you wish (smoking, toxic food, etc.), but it should be my right to eat healthy, be informed, and not be taxed to pay for you heart attack, cancer, high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes, and chronic diseases that are preventable.
Instead of the Obama “sick care” program that is not right or fair, people should pay a tax on all processed “foods”, cigarettes, etc. with the money going into a special fund to provide for illness treatment from allopathic doctors.
Doctors should also be paid more to help you be healthy instead of being rewarded for getting you on drugs and not helping you be well.

Eating Healthy Foods is now a Mental Disorder!

Just treating the old diseases like heart attacks, type 2 diabetes, cancer, high blood pressure, allergies, flu (with vaccines) and degenerative conditions does not bring in enough money to satisfy the voracious appetite of Big Pharma to tear every dine out of the US population that they can get their grubby hands around.

Big Pharma continues to invent new diseases just so they can grab more than their fair share of profits. It is bad enough that toxic chemical agriculture and industrial food manufactures are killing us with poor quality food, but now those of us that want to eat better than junk food are labeled as having a mental disorder.

Healthy food obsession sparks rise in new eating disorder

Fixation with healthy eating can be sign of serious psychological disorder

The following quote would be funny if it wasn’t so serious. The end result is that Big Pharma is now pushing psychotropic drugs to treat this disease.

Eating disorder charities are reporting a rise in the number of people suffering from a serious psychological condition characterized by an obsession with healthy eating.

The condition, orthorexia nervosa, affects equal numbers of men and women, but sufferers tend to be aged over 30, middle-class and well-educated.

The condition was named by a Californian doctor, Steven Bratman, in 1997, and is described as a “fixation on righteous eating”. Until a few years ago, there were so few sufferers that doctors usually included them under the catch-all label of “Ednos” – eating disorders not otherwise recognized. Now, experts say, orthorexics take up such a significant proportion of the Ednos group that they should be treated separately.

“I am definitely seeing significantly more orthorexics than just a few years ago,” said Ursula Philpot, chair of the British Dietetic Association’s mental health group. “Other eating disorders focus on quantity of food but orthorexics can be overweight or look normal. They are solely concerned with the quality of the food they put in their bodies, refining and restricting their diets according to their personal understanding of which foods are truly ‘pure’.”

Orthorexics commonly have rigid rules around eating. Refusing to touch sugar, salt, caffeine, alcohol, wheat, gluten, yeast, soya, corn and dairy foods is just the start of their diet restrictions. Any foods that have come into contact with pesticides, herbicides or contain artificial additives are also out.

The obsession about which foods are “good” and which are “bad” means orthorexics can end up malnourished. Their dietary restrictions commonly cause sufferers to feel proud of their “virtuous” behavior even if it means that eating becomes so stressful their personal relationships can come under pressure and they become socially isolated.

“The issues underlying orthorexia are often the same as anorexia and the two conditions can overlap but orthorexia is very definitely a distinct disorder,” said Philpot. “Those most susceptible are middle-class, well-educated people who read about food scares in the papers, research them on the internet, and have the time and money to source what they believe to be purer alternatives.”

Deanne Jade, founder of the National Centre for Eating Disorders, said: “There is a fine line between people who think they are taking care of themselves by manipulating their diet and those who have orthorexia. I see people around me who have no idea they have this disorder. I see it in my practice and I see it among my friends and colleagues.”

Jade believes the condition is on the increase because “modern society has lost its way with food”. She said: “It’s everywhere, from the people who think it’s normal if their friends stop eating entire food groups, to the trainers in the gym who [promote] certain foods to enhance performance, to the proliferation of nutritionists, dieticians and naturopaths [who believe in curing problems through entirely natural methods such as sunlight and massage].

“And just look in the bookshops – all the diets that advise eating according to your blood type or metabolic rate. This is all grist for the mill to those looking for proof to confirm or encourage their anxieties around food.”

It appears that the goal of main stream news (TV, newspapers, etc), medicine, drug corporations, and industrial food manufactures is control of people so that they will blindly follow what they are “told” so the income levels of corporations will not fall.

There is a huge danger to those who run our consumption-based society because consumption depends on ignorance combined with suggestibility. For people to keep blindly buying foods, medicines, health insurance and consumer goods, they need to have their higher brain functions switched off. Processed junk foods laced with toxic chemicals just happens to achieve that rather well. Why do you think dead, processed foods remain the default meals in public schools, hospitals and prisons? It’s because dead foods turn off higher levels of awareness and keep people focused on whatever distractions you can feed their brains: Television, violence, fear, sports, sex and so on.

The one other thing Mike and the Guardian left out when it comes too switched off brains is fluoride in the water. Fluoride depletes lithium from the body and causes depression. Add dead unhealthy foods and it is easy to see how we end up with orthorexia nervosa.

The truth is that we need as many people eating healthy food as possible so that someone has enough clarity to help people change or to help change our system so that we increase the number of people that demand healthy food to prevent as much disease as possible.
